The Bird as a symbol of rebirth and resurrection was also a favorite image used by ancient goldsmiths on their works. The images used on this bracelet are typical for the 5 c b.c Thracian zoomorphic style. The gold is raised and set in silver settings on segments attached with hinges. The lock is hand made and inserted into one of the small segments.
