The image of Zeus, the most powerful of gods in ancient Greece was very popular among Thracians. It was used as a decoration on clothes, chariots, horse trappings as well as a protective amulet. It was believed to bring power to the wearer and protect him from evil forces. This depiction of the head of Zeus is influenced by the decoration on a chariot from a Thracian burial mound. The image is stylized and used on the set of these men's accesories. Shown bellow is a bracelet woven from single silver wire reinforced with steel braces to provide flexibility and finished with two terminators, decorated with the head of Zeus made in gold repousse, reinforced and set in the settings on front and sides of the bracelet.
